1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
1 small onion, diced
1/2 red bell pepper, diced
1/2 green bell pepper, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
3/4 cup Greenbrier Raspberry Salsa
2 cups diced canned tomatoes, drained
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cummin
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
salt to taste
1 15-ounce can black beans, drained

    Heat oil in a large heavy saucepan. Brown ground beef or turkey. Drain any excess fat or oil. Add onions, garlic, red and green pepper and cook until vegetables are soft. Add Greenbrier Raspberry Salsa, canned tomatoes, chili powder, ground cummin, cayenne pepper and black beans. Stir to combine thoroughly. Add salt to taste. Simmer for 30 minutes. Taste and correct seasoning.

This chili is perfect for a cold day. Serve piping hot with your favorite toppings such as grated Monterey Jack cheese, white cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, or a dollop of sour cream. It is excellent served with garlic bread and a healthy green salad.
